Driven by Passion, Knowledge, and Wisdom.
Welcome to Jetfire Networks – specializing in OpenVZ Virtual Private Servers, Virtual Storage, and Shared cPanel Website Hosting solutions for individuals and professionals alike.
We adhere to a business model which embraces our ethical and moral values. We form business relationships with experienced, knowledgeable professionals, who understand that the phrase “you get what you pay for” reigns especially true in the Web Hosting industry, and have the foresight to look past service packages labeled as “cheap”, “budget”, or “basic”, and understand that a “cheap” hosting package can often return a similar quality of service.
Our philosophy is unique among the many avenues of the Virtual & Shared Web Hosting industry. We’ve combined an overkill of system resources and proven technology, with methods that some providers have lost sight of. Our clients take comfort in our VPS order activation and delivery process which ensures a solid environment free from abuse or over-provisioning. We manually verify each VPS prior to delivery to ensure a successful server build and/or control panel installation, based on your order. Not every “instantly activated” VPS is going to be built with your specific requirements, such as TUN/TAP, or a control panel installation if requested. Instead, we prefer to tailor the VPS to your specifications, while still accounting for a fast overall provisioning. Verified orders should expect same-day delivery, along with an informational email consisting of the order details, I.P. address(es), management URL, control panel URL, and the essential access credentials to begin your server or website setup.
We re-branded as an L.L.C. in May 2012, though our hosting roots can be traced to our professional formation of Northwest Technology Group in 2009, providing Web & I.T. services to Pacific Northwest customers, and even as far back as 2002, when Website Hosting was a side project in addition to full-time I.T. work. Since then we have expanded our service across The US, UK, CA, and have met wonderful people in other areas of the world. We’re glad to maintain professional, yet personable sales and client support, and are not driven by automation, overselling, or shiny websites full of menus to get lost in. We’ll stick with our proven model; a combination of passion, knowledge, and wisdom.
OpenVZ Linux Virtualization, Never Oversold. Guaranteed.
You should know Have you heard of the Industry terms overselling and overloading? Perhaps you’ve heard it too much and desire to remove the term from your vocabulary? Regardless, you’ve reached a Safe House. For those who aren’t familiar with it, this is considered the Web Hosting equivalent to “biting off more than you can chew”, and is a gross misrepresentation of service. The practice, in this industry, generally accompanies a collection of visually appealing service packages advertising giant (and even in some cases, “unlimited”) amounts of system resources, for only a few dollars per month, and is generally based on the provider’s assumption that their customer will only use a fraction of the service they’ve ordered. The provider continues offering these packages, sometimes without considering their own system resources, and most importantly, how it will affect their clients’ level of service. Frequently reported complaints associated with this practice include a notable decrease in VPS process execution, website load and response times, a marked delay in accessibility and availability of access, frequent fluctuation of upload/download speeds, unexpected error messages loading in place of your website, email delivery failures, among many other scenarios. Overselling could disrupt service entirely, possibly indefinitely, if not attended to immediately by an experienced systems administrator.
We’ve witnessed and experienced the effects of overselling, and we absolutely refuse to build even a single VPS on a node utilizing over 75% of it’s capacity. We’ve got the ability to add additional nodes to our cluster within a matter of hours.
